Grades 2-3
A child is never too young to start learning and loving the game of tennis!
This class will help start that journey. Participants will learn the ins and outs of scoring, as well as basic tennis skills: forehands, backhands, volleys and serves. With our fun and energetic coaches, students are going to have a blast each week! In the Shakopee School District, tennis is offered as a sport in 6th grade. Get them involved now so they are ready to join the team! Gym shoes required. All equipment is provided due to a generous grant from the USTA. Meets four times.
