To kick-off STARS 2020-21, we are going to have a Harvest Party! From Pumpkin Ring Toss to making your own caramel apples, be ready to participate in all things Fall with your friends. Price includes all supplies, snacks, and a light lunch.
STARS (Saber Teens Around Shakopee) is an exciting program, open to ALL teenagers, but is geared towards teens with disabilities. STARS provides monthly social opportunities for teens in grades 6-12. Our goal is to give teens a chance to experience fun activities in a healthy environment with their friends. Individuals must be able to participate independently within the stated staff/participant ratio of 4:1 or supply a personal aide in order to take part successfully in appropriate programs. Community Education programs will be open in compliance with State and Federal guidelines during this pandemic. Please be advised that participant compliance with programming expectations for health and safety must be followed. Community Education programs will take an abundance of care for all participants but acknowledge a potential risk for health and safety due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
