Girl Talk (ended)
#: FY-GT   ID: 20   Section:
Description:
Looking for a place to belong? Want to talk to someone who has stood in your shoes? Girl Talk is a national organization that offers peer-to-peer mentoring programs where high school girls facilitate discussions with a small group of middle school girls. Meeting topics include empowerment, stress management, leadership skills, perfectionism, mental health, social media, and anxiety. Together, you will find strength, learn new skills, and create a network of support as you navigate adolescence. Price includes a Girl Talk t-shirt and all supplies for the fall session.

If our meeting space is not available due to a COVID-19 related closure, we will meet live online via Google Meet at the originally scheduled date and time. In this case, you will be notified by a Community Education staff member, and you will receive a meeting invitation via email.

Community Education programs will be open in compliance with State and Federal guidelines during this pandemic. Please be advised that participant compliance with programming expectations for health and safety must be followed. Community Education programs will take an abundance of care for all participants but acknowledge a potential risk for health and safety due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
