Description:
Level 1 focuses on developing your ability to teach effectively. You will learn to teach your dog a sense of self-calming, self-control, attention, and appropriate house and social manners. You will also teach your dog to sit, lie down, stay, come, and heel with both hand and voice signals.
Bring to Class:
Please bring to class: a flat collar, martingale, or harness (pinch, choke, or e-collars are not permitted in class), 6 foot leash (no retractable leashes), treats/food for the dog which should be bite size or smaller and of high value. Wear comfortable shoes as will be doing some moving around! Also bring proof of vaccinations. We require only the core vaccinations. Feel free to scan and email them to me or bring with you on the first night of class.
DA2PP Vaccine: Distemper, Adenovirus, Parainfluenza and Parvovirus.
Rabies Vaccine (if over 16 weeks)
Bordetella is not required but strongly recommended
