Who would raise your children if you died? Who will be your personal representative? Without a will, the laws in Minnesota and a judge make all of the decisions. Take charge of these arrangements in this class. Instructor Adam Altman is an attorney experienced in drafting wills. If you are married, please note that each of you must register separately, as you will each create your own will, even though they may be identical.
This hybrid class will be conducted online via Zoom with an in-person notarization the following week. You will receive an emailed meeting invitation prior to the start time. During the online portion, you will learn everything you need to know to complete your will. The final step will be the signing and notarization, at which we will provide the notary and witnesses.

You will also need to print out the will form, which will be emailed to you prior to class. Your final will must be printed single-sided.
In person notarization will take place on Monday, November 9, from 3-4pm at Shakopee Public Schools District Office (1200 Town Square, Shakopee, MN 55379 - Door to the left of Dollar General).
