Class Registration v3.0 - Shakopee Public Schools Site
Outdoor Explorers: Maps and Compasses (In-Person) (ended)
#: WSY-MAPS   ID: 21   Section: EC
Description:
Grades 2-5
Learn how people found their way around before cell phones and GPS. We will make our own maps of the school grounds, and then use hand-held magnetic compasses to find our way around and possibly find a few hidden items, as well! A majority of class time will be spent outside, so please dress for the weather. Class fee includes a compass that you can practice your newly-acquired navigation skills. Meets three times.

Community Education programs will be open in compliance with State and Federal guidelines during this pandemic. Please be advised that participant compliance with programming expectations for health and safety must be followed. Community Education programs will take an abundance of care for all participants but acknowledge a potential risk for health and safety due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
